Performance Pins are automatically ejected from the iron stack when the plates used by the athlete "finish" allowing the set to be continued immediately.

The moment the exercise begins, the Performance Pins "activate", holding in place holding your heaviest load throughout the set until the load being used hits the stationary iron plates of the stack where the mechanism is automatically activated and are ejected.

 

What are Drop Sets?

Drop Sets are a special technique in which the athlete does not "rest" between sets, but instead drops the weight by 10-25% after the end of each set.

Drop sets are a pulley weight lifting intensity technique in which a lifter performs one set for a specific number of repetitions, drops the weight by 10 to 20%, and immediately performs another set. It is a technique used by advanced as well as professional athletes.

 

With dip sets, additional muscle fibers are recruited and more blood is pushed to the area you are training. The mobilization of more muscle fibers and greater blood flow equals more nutrient-dense blood to aid muscle growth.

"Drop Sets" are a great technique to get more size, so they are used by athletes interested in reshaping their bodies and "building" lean muscle.

What is their use?

If the exerciser "fails" for 50 seconds to lift the expected weight,
If the exercise becomes too "hard" after 2-3 reps and the exerciser wants to reduce their range of motion,
